New ‘gold class’ community revitalising Port Stephens’ seniors

Established in the Port Stephens’ region, Ingenia Lifestyle’s first gold-class community – Latitude One – has been met with high local demand, as more people seek to downsize locally and reinvigorate their lifestyle as they head towards their ‘golden years’.

Latitude One Activities and Events Coordinator and lifetime Anna Bay resident, Felicity Hamilton, said the arrival of the lifestyle community to the region is providing a new lease on life for locals. “The residents absolutely love getting involved in the activities and events that I organise with an abundant of leisure activities to choose from including the Big Star events, welcome morning teas, working bees in the Happy Harvest country garden and walking group,” she said. “I have seen such a change in residents’ zest for life since moving into the Latitude One community – they are recreating their sense of identity and purpose and with the clubhouse construction commencing soon, new spaces will be created to accommodate the new hub of wellness, fun and laughs.

“From the love and friendships I have witnessed in the Anna Bay area since I was a little girl, Latitude One is only going to strengthen the camaraderie within the community.”

Felicity has lived in Port Stephens, in the Anna Bay area, since she was sixyears old, and can already see how Latitude One is becoming the first of its kind while meeting local demand for boutique community living.

“One thing I have noticed is many locals in the area want to vacate their large homes and downsize to a smaller home. “They love the freedom that having low home maintenance brings, allowing them to spend more time socialising with friends rather than getting stuck mowing the lawn. The next stage of homes in release four has now commenced and selling strongly.
